About Modern Improvement
Family Owned. Illinois Proud. Built on Trust.
Who We Are
More Than a Contractor — We're Your Home's Lifelong Partner
Modern Improvement isn't just another home improvement company. We're a family-owned business rooted in the belief that every homeowner deserves craftsmanship they can be proud of and a contractor they can trust for life. From the first handshake to the final walkthrough, your happiness is our highest priority.
Average Rating
Trusted by homeowners across Illinois — from Oak Lawn to Chicago and beyond.
What Sets Us Apart
Top-Rated Across Illinois
With a perfect 5.0 rating and dozens of glowing reviews, our reputation speaks for itself. We've earned the trust of homeowners from Oak Lawn to Chicago and every community in between — and we work every single day to keep it.
Your Happiness Is Our Priority
We don't measure success by the number of jobs we complete — we measure it by the smiles we leave behind. Every tile laid, every floor installed, every deck built is done with the same care we'd give our own home.
Family Owned & Family Focused
We are a family business through and through. That means you're never just a number on a work order. You're a neighbor, a friend, and someone we genuinely care about. We treat your home the way we treat ours.
A Relationship, Not a Transaction
We're not looking to complete one job and move on. We want to be the contractor your family calls for every project — present and future. When your friends and family need work done, we want to be the name you're proud to recommend.
Serving All of Illinois
From Alsip to Evergreen Park, Burbank to Palos Hills, we proudly serve homeowners across the entire state of Illinois. No project is too far when it means delivering the quality our customers deserve.
Craftsmanship You Can Count On
Every project we take on — whether it's a bathroom refresh, a finished basement, new flooring, or a custom deck — is completed with precision, professionalism, and an uncompromising standard of quality.
Our Promise
Our Promise to You
We cherish every job and every customer who invites us into their home. Our mission is simple: to deliver exceptional results that make you proud, build relationships that last a lifetime, and become the trusted name your family passes down to the next generation. When Modern Improvement is on the job, you're not just getting a contractor — you're gaining a partner who genuinely cares about your home, your family, and your future.
